What got you into barefooting?
Watching my then boyfriend and his friend try it. Got the bug when I saw another women foot and not take a beating! Thought - if she can do it, I can do it!
How did you learn to barefoot?
Initially from a few guys. Then I got smart and saw a women foot. Made all the difference in the world. Women generally ski smarter - not stronger. After that, I seeked out the professionals to keep me on the right track.
Who was your first barefoot instructor?
Mike Whitney from Denver, CO
Tell us about your first tournament
NERVOUS. But had a blast. I made my trick run on the 5' line!

How did you feel the first time you barefooted?
Exhilarated
Why do you continue to barefoot?
Keeps me in great physical shape, but mostly because the barefoot community is a wonderful group of people. Have you met the Sole Sisters?

Andrea Eggert and Jan Cummings - fellow Sole Sisters. And many others.
