What got you into barefooting?
Saw My Uncle do it when I was 6 or so.

How did you learn to barefoot?
Self taught. Long line. No Wetsuit, off a "Hydro Slide"

Tell us about your first tournament
1986 Canadian Nationals.
1st - Tricks, 1st Jump, 2nd Slalom, 1st Overall. Got called to be on the National Team 1 week later, was at the Worlds in Germany two weeks after that.

How did you feel the first time you barefooted?
GREAT! Then like I got hit in the face with a piece of plywood....

Why do you continue to barefoot?
If you have to ask...you would not understand....

When I was competing regularly about 4 - 5 days per week.
