  What got you into barefooting?
My Father and my uncle got me interested.
How did you learn to barefoot?
Stepping off a plank that my dad made for me when I was 12 years old.
Who was your first barefoot instructor?
Ashley Smith and Brett Drummond where my first coaches.
Later in my career I was coached by Gavin Wright and John Stekelenberg.
Tell us about your first tournament
I had no idea what tricks could be done and I didn't even know you could jump barefoot. Once I saw Brett Sands and Ashley Smith jump I was addicted.
How did you feel the first time you barefooted?
It was the most amazing feeling ever. I taught myself how to do it and was so proud of myself.
Why do you continue to barefoot?
I do it because it gives me a feeling of happiness that words can't describe.
Who has inspired you in this sport?
I was inspired by John Pennay, Ken Derry Jnr and John Stelelemberg.
They all have very different styles and are great people on and off the water.
Have you held any World Records?
I wish.
Have you won any medals at a world championship?
I won bronze in Tricks at the 1999 AAO championships.
What skiers have you enjoyed watching and why?
I enjoyed watching John Pennay because he had an ability to look so soft and light on the water.
But I enjoy watching anyone have a go at Barefooting. They always have a massive smile when they learn how to do it.
How often do you train ski?
I no longer train or compete.
What do you do for a living?
I work as a finance broker.
