What got you into barefooting?
I found out about barefooting at the trade show "boot" in Düsseldorf Germany.
A guy invited me to a clinic held in Duisburg on the site of the 2005 World Games.

How did you learn to barefoot?
At this clinic i started to learn how to barefoot correctly after i tryed from the kneeboard a few times without instruction.

Who was your first barefoot instructor?
My first berafoot instructor was Hilmar Wehner.
I met him at the clinic in Duisburg and after this he kept on coaching me.

Tell us about your first tournament
My first tournament was the 04 nationals in Duisburg, all the german skiers were really nice to me as a beginner and it felt like home from the first tournament.

Who has inspired you in this sport?
There are a couple of poeple who inspired me arround the world, as there is of course my coach Hilmar and especially the whole team from the world barefoot center.
but not to forget the friends u gain arround the world.

What do you do for a living?
i´m studying medicine to become a doctor, and to earn some money next to uni i´m working on a intensive care unit in a hospital close by.
